Ayurveda Massage - Abhyanga massage

Abhyanga massage is a gentle but firm whole body massage from head to toe using warm medicated oils. Oils are chosen according to the prakruti and the illness. The massage is done in a soft rhythmic way with one or two persons massaging at the same time for forty five to sixty minutes. After the massage a steam bath or hot shower is highly recommended.

Abhyanga massage is a deeply relaxing, rejuvenating experience as well as treatment in certain illness. A regular Abhyanga protects from stress, anxiety, exhaustion and Vata disorder. It nourishes the body, extends the life span, provides good sleep, improves the skin texture, improves the vision and provides better physical stability.

Abhyanga ayurveda treatment is the best way to control and balance Vata in the body. Vata is the predominant entity in the sense of touch and skin is the organ of touch. Keep equal amount of triphala powder and sugar candy in a glass jar and take one teaspoonful with one teaspoonful of honey on an empty stomach morning and evening and drink 250 gm of milk over it for 2-3 months. This cures all the diseases of the eyes.

To make eyes beautiful, after washing the eyes with triphala water apply olive or almond oil around the eyes and massage gently. It makes eye muscles strong and soft and the skin around the eyes looks healthy.Beautiful eyes are the first thing that one notices in your look. It counts much if you take proper care of them and make it shine with your inner self-confidence.

Nowadays lots of people are facing obesity problem all over the world. Today’s busy life and more and more junk food varieties are also playing important roles. People do not have time to exercise and just eat the ready maid junk foods. However you can control your weight by adopting following ayurveda treatment in your regular work routine.
